Deductible
A deductible is the amount you may need to pay out of pocket before your insurance starts covering certain healthcare services. For example, if your deductible is $1,500, you may be responsible for the full cost of visits until that amount is met.
Copay
A copay is a fixed amount you pay for a healthcare visit. For example, your insurance plan may require a $25 or $50 copay for each psychiatry appointment.
Coinsurance
Coinsurance is a percentage of the visit cost that you are responsible for after your deductible has been met. For example, if your coinsurance is 20%, you would pay 20% of the session cost and your insurance would cover the remaining 80%.
Out-of-Pocket Maximum
This is the most you will typically pay for covered healthcare services during your plan year. Once you reach this amount, your insurance may cover 100% of eligible services for the remainder of the year.
Once you schedule an appointment and upload your insurance information, our team will verify your insurance benefits. After your benefits are reviewed, you will receive a confirmation email detailing the estimated cost of your session.
Please note that benefit information is based on what your insurance company provides at the time of verification. Final coverage and patient responsibility are determined by your insurance plan after the claim is processed.
Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to take the first step in your mental health journey. If you have questions about your estimated session cost or insurance benefits, our team is happy to help.
Submit your insurance information, including your ID and date of birth, and we’ll check your benefits to see if our services are covered by your plan. It’s quick and easy—let us help you get the most out of your insurance!
